Chinese mobile makers Altek have designed the first ever 12 megapixel mobile camera phone the ALTEK T8680 and hopes that this device will be the first of its kind to make real time imaging into reality.

The phone has been designed just to work as the just like a digi cam  and process images even in low light conditions as good as any other digital camera. It has been designed with a specific image processing chip which would provide users with a better mobile camera experience even without cutting into the speed of the device itself.

Altek plans to launch their new phone in China and simultaneously in the United States sometime next month.

But as of now the product will not be available in India, people out here might have to wait till early next year to get their hands on this one.
