For the first quarter ended June 30 2010, Sri Adhikari Brothers (SAB), a pioneer in the Indian television industry, has posted a net profit of Rs 1.39 crores.

This comes as a remarkable growth for the company as it has managed to move towards a positive performance from a net loss of Rs 1.07 crores in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Net income from operations for SAB stood at Rs 8.04 crore for Q1FY10 increasing from Rs 5.65 crores in the Q1FY11. During the quarter the operations of Company included content production only.

Expenses for the quarter were reported to be Rs 6.26 crore surging from Rs 5.39 crore in the previous year.

The Company has recently begun with the broadcast of a music channel, “Mastiii” on July 2010 under its subsidiary.
