IBN18 Broadcast Limited has reported consolidated loss at Rs 10.6 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009.

IBN18 Broadcast (erstwhile Global Broadcast Network) manages operations of English news channel CNN-IBN and Hindi news channel IBN7. It also comprises of Viacom 18 (JV with Viacom Inc.), IBN-Lokmat (50% JV with Lokmat Newspapers Ltd) and its 100% subsidiaries IBN18 Mauritius Ltd, Jagran TV Pvt Ltd and RTV Media Pvt Ltd.

The company's consolidated net sales for the third quarter increased 40.80% at Rs 192.2 crore versus Rs 136.5 crore, quarter-on-quarter, QoQ.

Viacom18 has earned a profit of Rs 570 lacs for Q3FY10 and IBN Lokmat has incurred a loss of Rs 436 lacs for the same period.
