RIM could strip co-founders of Chairmanship

Research In Motion (RIM) could soon strip its co-chief executives' chairmanship said a report in The National Post newspaper.
The move could calm angry and disillusioned investors who have been hoping for a change.
The news saw shares of RIM jump by 7 percent indicating that the company would listen to the investors.
Barbara Stymiest, currently an independent member of RIM's board, is expected to take over the chairmanship from co-founders Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie.
The company recently slashed the prices of its PlayBook tablet in the US by up to $400. It is offering all three versions of the product with storages of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB for the same price of $299 until the end of February.
