Search engine giant Google keeps innovating on the business front that always benefits users worldwide. In a similar move, Eric Schmidt (CEO, Google) has announced of launching a Google TV platform by the next year which will facilitate users with a unique blend of Internet and Television.

This is a strong attempt of combining the experience of Internet and Television by Goggle. Mr. Schmidt demonstrated the technology for the first time during the closing keynote at the IFA Technology Trade Fair in Berlin, Germany.

Google TV platform will have a search bar on top of the TV monitor with which the user can perform the regular searching and surfing on the internet. Also, Live TV listings can also be seen with this new innovation.

The company says it is working with content providers to bring entertainment options to Google TV, and that it plans to launch support for Android mobile applications on the TV next year.

The new service would be available free of cost and Google would work with a variety of content providers and electronics manufacturers to bring it to consumers.
