Sony to release its LED LX900 3D TV in India and Japan

Seeing tough competition from Consumer electronics giants Panasonic and Samsung, Sony has also revealed the dates of release, shipment along with the pricing of its new 3D TV in India and Japan. The product will bear the name LED LX 900 and its other variants with the tag name HX900 and HX800 are scheduled to be available for consumers in the month of June or July.

Along with it Sony India on Tuesday in an event also launched this product in India and announced to have intensions of investing around Rs. 1800 crore on promotions and marketing in Indian market about its products.

Sony India Managing Director Masaru Tamagawa said, that the company holds intensions to capture the more Tech savvy Indian electronics market and will infuse them with the technologies like Internet TV, LED and 3D. The company also announced the launch of new models under the popular Bravia brand, priced between Rs. 45,900 and Rs. 3.50-lakh.

These Television sets are designed in various sizes of 60", 51", 46" and 40" and will carry prices ranging from $3,222 to $6,444.

Talking about some of the specifications of this wonderful series of LX900 3D HDTV we can say that they are all set to provide a rich and sensational TV viewing experience in High definition to the user. The product is capable enough in offering three dimension experiences right on their TV sets, setting them free from the constraint of Cinema halls only. All the big giants of Consumer market are excited by the inflow of 3D content in media and entertainment sector. Big success of films like Avatar has paved the way of 3D TV set era for the future.

Two pairs of special glasses to provide user the feeling of 3D and a camera sensor for the adjustment of picture and sound quality will consist the total package of this TV set.

It will be a complete HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) which will have a feature of LED Backlight. To vow the user it has been imparted Monolithic Design and Motion flow™ PRO 240Hz motion compensation technology. This technology presents a better moving content and smooth flow of images in sports and action content. The TV set supports a 240Hz technology to deduct the consolidation of images in 3D. BRAVIA Engine™ 3 full digital video processor uses a collection of enhanced algorithms to significantly reduce noise, enhance overall image detail, and optimize contrast so every scene produces sharp, vibrant, life-like images.

Opti Contrast Panel is used to minimise the reflection and refraction of external and access light. Integrated Wi-Fi for broadband connectivity in incorporated in the TV set. With this feature user can have anything on his TV set from the world of Internet. BRAVIA Engine™ 3 full digital video processor uses a collection of enhanced algorithms to significantly reduce noise, enhance overall image detail, and optimize contrast so every scene produces sharp, vibrant, life-like images. Wi-Fi (for video services like Netflix), face detection (for auto-backlight dimming) and an anti-reflective panel.
