Dell's Mini 3 smartphone & a tablet to release in 2010: @CES2010

Dell’s innovations empowering mobile computing were showed at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) being held at Las Vegas.
Among the broad range of products exhibited by Dell at the largest consumer technology event, company’s ultra-mobile gaming laptop was revealed. Dell also showed a tablet concept and an Android-based smart phone for AT&T, both slated for launch in 2010. Additionally the company provided a peek into refreshed Inspiron, Studio and Alienware systems incorporating the new Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors.
As the mobile technology is leveraging with the people looking forward to stay connected, Dell’s new offering and the enhanced versions look to provide them with the latest tools and services for immersive digital experiences on the go.
“We are focused on technology and solutions that help people connect and share content virtually anytime and anyplace,” said Michael Tatelman, vice president of sales and marketing for Dell’s global consumer business. “Consumers are demanding enhanced mobility in high-quality devices, and want to know they have made smart choices with their purchases.”
The Alienware M11x, considered by Dell as the most powerful 11-inch gaming laptop in the universe, an easy to carry device delivering gaming accessible to all. The Alienware M11x demonstrates the graphics power of a 15-inch laptop in an 11-inch form factor. It offers the features to its users to provide ultimate gaming experience on the go with the choice to play all of their games and media, whether at home or away, at HD 720p resolution.
Foraying into the tablet world, Dell provided a glimpse of its tablet concept with a 5-inch display, positioning it as a companion device that delivers a full web experience around accessing, maintaining and syncing and sharing digital content. This is expected to be out in the market in 2010.
Dell also announced that its Android-based smartphone offering Mini 3 would be available in the US market from the mobile operator AT&T.
Other products unveiled included:
- A refreshed Studio 14 laptop for individuals who create and consume digital content, combining powerful technology with features that deliver a rich multi-media experience like enhanced audio solutions and high performance high definition displays.
- New versions of the popular Inspiron PC line continue to deliver on value and personalization while incorporating Intel’s new Core i5 processors and its “smart” features such as Turbo Boost technology.
