EVS Broadcast Equipment and Media & Broadcast Technologies (MBT) will be demonstrating their turnkey solution for automatic news production at IBC 2009 (September 11-15, 2009).

The news automated solution has been developed after integrating MBT Phoenix software and EVS’ XS production server. The automatic news production solution facilitates easy and high-speed to build news programs, from editorial scheduling to broadcasting.

Also, MBT is introducing its Phoenix software at IBC 2009 that has been designed to automate news production in combination with EVS XS studio servers. It has been incorporated with News conductor scheduling facility, TV News edition facility, including video, graphics, sets, and more; and completely automated playout facility. It has a touch-sensitive screen and user-friendly software.

XS is the new 2- or 4-channel server from EVS that is dedicated to tapeless ingest, production, and playout in studios. Available in multiple SD/HD codec configurations, XS provides perfect integration with any existing broadcast infrastructures. EVS XS makes recorded media instantly available across the production network for simultaneous preview, rough editing, archiving, playback, or post production

MBT Phoenix with direct control of the EVS XS server would be demonstrated at the IBC 2009 MBT booth (Hall 2 Stand B19).
