Following extensive evaluation, Argosy, a leading international supplier of HD broadcast, cables and studio infrastructure products, has added a new LCD HD Video Monitor range to complement its broad portfolio of products. These monitors will be showcased for the first time at Broadcast Video Expo (stand no. i38 in London's Earls Court 2, 17-19 February 2009).
The new LCD HD Video Monitor range provides high quality video monitoring in a choice of Composite, SDI & HD formats. These units include tally lights and an easy to use scroll menu accessible from the front panel that enables the users to select aspect ratio, contrast, colour & sharpness.
The monitors are available in a number of screen formats and feature a rack mount chassis that is able to be tilted to improve the viewing angle. The monitors comply with the SMPTE standards 292M/259M and operate across all signal formats including 1080i, 1080p, 60, 50,720p, 576i/480i and 24p/25p/24psf (film format).
"The addition of the video monitors complements our range and further enhances our position as a one stop shop for broadcasters wanting to implement a complete infrastructure build out of their HD facilities or vehicles," said Mike Purnell, director at Argosy. "The technical capabilities of these monitors provide one of the best solutions available on the market today."
These new additions complement Argosy's established portfolio of products which include its most popular range of IMAGE HD video cables, connectors, media converters, high density HD video patch panels, MDUs, routers, audio jack fields, rack systems, KVM switches, and Sonarae, its audio monitoring system as well as an array of video accessories. |
