In context with the ongoing tussle between Blackberry and Indian security establishment, a major provider of Blackberry services in the country Vodafone has warned its customers about the likely ban on these services.

As the August 31 deadline for RIM for reaching a feasible technical solution to the existing problem is approaching, Vodafone on Friday has informed in advance to its subscribers. However, the Telco at the same time has assured of trying to come up with some solution to its subscribers.

The caution came within hours of the government saying that a solution to monitoring of BlackBerry services to address its security concerns remained elusive.
