With the release of Apple's wonder gadget iPhone 4 in San Francisco, Indian users had started to feel envious with their European and American counterparts. The craze for this magnificent device is very well known. But this situation has been eased out by Vodafone as this telecom player has announced of making iPhone 4 available for Indian users.
The recent press statement from Vodafone revealed that the network carrier is all set to bring the iPhone 4 to the Indian market in the coming months.
iPhone 3G, the popular device from the stable of Apple which debuted last year had compelled users to go mad at its fascinating features and astute technology. Now this improvised model iPhone 4 will be available from June 24th. However, anything about the prices has not been mentioned by Vodafone.
iPhone 4 operates its functionality on iOS4, the latest software developed by Apple for its mobiles. The software enables the device to run more than one program simultaneously. The Apple iPhone 4 features FaceTime, which supports video calling, and Apple's new Retina 960×640 pixelsdisplay, the highest resolution display ever built into a phone, according to the company. In addition, HD video recording, Apple's A4 processor, a 3-axis gyro and up to 40% longer talk time – in an all-new design of glass and stainless steel. Apple added that the new iPhone is the thinnest smartphone in the world, at 9.3 millimeters.
The display on the new iPhone remains 3.5 inches (8.9 centimeters) diagonally, but Jobs said it can show four times as many pixels - the individual colored dots that make up an image - as the previous screen.
The previous iPhone was about 12 millimeters, or nearly half an inch. It is getting a camera on the front that could be used for videoconferencing, in addition to a five-megapixel camera and a flash on the back. It can shoot high-definition video, catching up to some other smart phones. |
