HTC is soon to join Smartphone race by launching its 'Smart' model in Indian market. The phone is expected to hit Indian markets very soon and is likely to be a significant competitor for Samsung Corby and LG Cookie Pep. As far as the prices are concerned, experts expect them to be around Rs, 10,000.

Announced in January 2010, the handset support both 2G and 3G networks at GSM and HSDPA 2100 platforms respectively. Packed in the dimensions of 104x55x12.8mm the phone carries weight of 108grams. The mobile device has a 2.8 inches TFT touchscreen that shows a blend of 256K colors on the display. The resolutions for the picture are excellent at 240 x 320 pixels. An Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotation imparts the gadget a fantastic display feature.

HTC Smart has an in built 3.5mm audio jack that makes its speakerphone worth appraising for delivering fantastic sound. Its 3.15 mega pixel camera is capable enough in producing mesmerizing pictures at a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. Auto focus and LED flash strengthens its camera feature well.

The most important advantage of this phone is its Brew Mobile Operating system along with 300 MHz processor as CPU, which makes its processing faster and more efficient. This JAVA based phone is blessed with miscellaneous features like MP3/eAAC+/WAV/WMA9 player and MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV9 player.
