Sony Ericsson unveils Vivaz, the HD phone

Sony Ericsson has announced Vivaz, a new handset in its communication entertainment phones. With this Sony Ericsson introduces HD video capabilities to reach at the user end in the first quarter of 2010.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is the second phone in Sony Ericsson’s recently introduced family of communication entertainment phones, the first one being Xperia X10 announced in November 2009.
One of the USP of this newly developed handset is its capability to record video in HD quality allowing the users to produce and broadcast their best experiences with the latest video capture and sharing features. The phone also has a dedicated video key that allows easy capturing.
The handset also provides with open platform enabling users to personalise their entertainment experience by downloading great applications through PlayNow and the Symbian Developer Community.

The Vivaz also features the new design philosophy ‘human curvature’, first introduced with the Xperia X10. As for social networking Vivaz has easy access to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
The handset has an 8.1 megapixel camera having 4x digital zoom, auto focus, face and smile detection features besides enabling HD recording.
Sony Ericsson Vivaz will be available in selected markets from Q1 in the colours Moon Silver, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue and Venus Ruby. |
