Samsung's Corby Pop to be much affordable

Samsung Mobile expanding its range of colourful and cost-effective Corby handsets will be releasing the new "Corby Pop" in India soon.

Already receiving wide acceptance by the India mobile users, the Samsung Corby Pop is being target to appeal to the masses. Matching in line with the Samsung Corby range of most affordable handsets, the Corby Pop is expected to roll out with a retail price of Rs 7000.

The Corby Pop is a fully touchpad handset with a 1.3-megapixel camera and FM radio. The handset offers 22MB of internal memory and a 960 mAh battery providing up to 8 hours of talk time.

Besides, the handset will reach the market with pre-installed Palringo IM and a fake call prank application. Moreover the handset also supports social networking widgets making available instant access to Facebook, Twitter and other sites.

The release date of the handset has not been revealed yet.

Furthermore, Samsung is also preparing to unveil a new version of Corby with Wi-Fi, which according to a few reports is planned to market in India first.
