Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend) has rolled out its latest addition to its Store Jet external hard drive portfolio – the Store Jet 35T – in India. Designed as an ideal data management system for uploading, downloading, storing and transferring vital data and information, the 3.5-inch Store Jet 35T incorporates Turbo HDD USB transfer mode and One Touch auto-backup button.

Elaborating on this launch, Mr. Austin Huang, Regional Head - Sales, SAARC & APAC, Transcend, remarks in a prepared statement, “The size of a hardback book, the black streamlined Store Jet 35T offers up to 1.5TB capacity, provides ample space for essential files, folders, documents, photos, music and high-definition videos. Its slender design allows it to be placed upright, thus occupying a smaller footprint to save precious desk space. Ideal for use at home or at the office, the handsomely designed Store Jet 35T is both stylish and practical”

The Store Jet 35T offers extraordinary data transfer performance with the use Transcend’s cutting-edge Turbo HDD USB technology. This technology enhances write speeds from 33MB/s to an average of 42MB/s—an increase of nearly 30%. The ring-shaped LED indicator changes colour when the drive is switched from standard mode into Turbo HDD USB mode. This change in colour from green to bright blue indicates the drive’s current speed status.

Additionally, the Store Jet 35T bundles with Store Jet Elite software that offers advanced 256-bit AES file and folder encryption with compression options to maximize the storage space and protect data at the same time. Devised as an eco-friendly drive, the Store Jet 35T is automatically switch to power-saving sleep mode after ten minutes of inactivity, allowing energy-savings of up to 67%.

One of the unique features in the Store Jet 35T external storage is the One Touch auto-backup button that other 3.5-inch external hard drive brands do not include. The One Touch backup system enables users to instantly backup and synchronize data with their notebook or desktop PC, ensuring their important data is safely stored in a secondary location.

Now available in 1TB and 1.5TB capacities, the Store Jet 35T certified for Windows 7 is the perfect choice for high-capacity external storage. The hard drive has been pricede at MRP of 14000 in the Indian market.
