Facilities like Video Telephony, TV on Mobile, Video Conferencing, Tele Medicine and e-learning are going to be in easy reach of NCR people as the launch of latest wireless broadband service WIMAX is all set by the end of February. Dhankor is going to witness the launch as places like Bisrakh, Dadri, Jewar and Jhangirpuri will follow in next fiscal year. This information came from Mr. Sachin Pilot, minister of State for IT & Communications in a press conference in Noida.

Around 40,000 would be mobile subscribers along with existing subscribers of Noida and Greater Noida will be facilitated by this service. The Minister also reviewed the quality of services in both these areas provided by BSNL and MTNL. He also made an announcement regarding the opening of two more exchanges in Sector 18 and 94 in Noida.

Stating the essentiality of Mobile Services for both commercial and personal domains, Mr. Pilot said operators must abide by the set rules and regulations while setting up of towers. He emphasized on the requirement of co-operative working co-ordination between the operators and State authorities for the benefit of consumer.
