Sky Deutschland has announced that it will expand its Sky Go on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

The German pay-TV broadcaster will expand the mobile entertainment service in spring this year.

Subscribers of Sky's movie channels will be able to use the service for free via 3G mobile networks and Wi-Fi hotspots.

Movies that will be available include "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", "The King's Speech", "Sucker Punch" and "The Smurfs" and various others from Hollywood studios like Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Walt Disney.

The Sky Go app was launched April 2011. The app has been used by a total of 594,000 people till the end of 2011.
