First time in the history of Indian Elections, polling can be seen live anywhere in the world. India’s biggest assembly elections, in Uttar Pradesh, are also witnessing its biggest live election webcast. It has surpassed Bihar, Tamil Nadu and its own experiment in the 2010 bypolls in Dumariyaganj. That too of the most sensitive booths, and not the ordinary ones. 

Why only general public, even Electoral officers, police high-ups, DM, ADM, Presiding officers etc. who were erstwhile seen running here and there to observe that everything is going well, can also sit comfortably in their air-conditioned rooms and monitor the whole activities. Thanks to Delhi based Sadhna TV Group who were assigned around 1500 polling booths in 7 phases for doing Live Telecast through web streaming. Director Gaurav Gupta says “In the beginning it seemed a tough and challenging job, as no other company came forward to take up the assignment. Live telecast was to be done not from ordinary booths, but those which were sensitive and targets for booth-capturing. We created a team of technical people for each district to carry out the work smoothly in the remotest corner of UP." 

As in past also, Sadhna Group has taken up many such challenges, making effective strategies for smooth implementation of Live-Streaming from all places, ensuring free and fair elections. "Four phases have already been completed and we did a marvelous job which was highly appreciated by Chief Electoral Officer and his colleagues in U.P” Gupta added.

This is the biggest ever Live Webcasting of Election-proceedings in India. Sadhna Group has planned to repeat same activities on counting day also from many locations.
