LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network has announced that it has crossed the one million professional member milestone in Indonesia.

The website currently has more than 150 million members worldwide and over 25 million members in Asia Pacific.

The announcement follows the launch of LinkedIn's Bahasa Indonesia language offering in December 2011. The launch of the local language site, led to a rise in the number of LinkedIn Groups in Bahasa Indonesia to over 700 groups.

Clifford Rosenberg, Managing Director of LinkedIn Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia said that the company saw a huge potential for growth in Indonesia.
