Google has released the updated version of Gmail offline Chrome app which was launched in August last year.
Gmail offline is powered by HTML5 and enable users to access their Gmail accounts even when there is no internet connection.
Using the settings a user can select between a week's, two weeks and a month's worth of emails. The app is very useful especially at times of travel when a user needs to check his/her Gmail account with no internet connectivity. All attachments will also be downloaded so users can access them offline as well.
The other updates include support for keyboard shortcuts, which transfer over any previously set shortcuts directly from one’s Gmail settings. Messages and attachments also download faster as compared to the earlier version.
A user needs to download the app from the Chrome Web Store and use Google's Chrome browser to access his/her Gmail account offline.
