Sony Ericsson to launch QWERTY handset

Sony Ericsson, one of the leading mobile manufacturing companies is now ready to launch it QWERTY model. This new sleek and stylish handset is expected from Sony Ericsson could be their first attempt at a candy bar QWERTY model.

The Faith is all set to be a QWERTY and touchscreen candybar phone, and is sporting the latest version of Windows Mobile – 6.5.3.

It has a semi-QWERTY keypad and Xperia X1 with slide out version. It is also dubbed the Faith aside from being a Windows Mobile 6.5 handset running on a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor at 600MHz, is also part of their new Greenheart series.

Some of the key features of the Faith are as follows:

  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, USB
  • GPS with A-GPS support
  • TFT LCD with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution
  • 3.2MP camera
  • MicroSD card support
  • 3.5mm hands free port

Initially the handset ‘Faith’ would be available and accessible in Silver and Black Colour.

The price of the new handset has not been announced yet.
