Radio is place for innovation and ideas. The more the station will catch listener's nerve the more listenership it garners. Keeping that mood on, Radio One has transformed itself to a 100% international radio station from Sunday 29 January in Mumbai and Delhi.
The station has formed an in-house band called ‘One for the Road’ which has released its first single as an invitation to the radio fraternity. The band will soon be roaming at various spots in the two cities. The song is exclusively available as a free download only on Radioandmusic.com
The station promises to be intelligent and involving for Indians who have a global outlook, targeting 4.5 million Indians in the two cities who read an English daily every morning.
The message in the song is about ‘being different from the herd and enjoying that feeling’ and invites you to have a larger positive outlook to change. It is inspired by people and brands that have 'shunned the herd mentality' and become successful.
It's called ‘Be the world. Be the change’. It is written, composed and performed by the Radio One band called 'One for the Road'.
