92.7 BIG FM wins Radio Broadcaster of the year at 'Golden Mikes' 2011

92.7 BIG FM, the FM radio vertical of Reliance Broadcast Network was awarded the "Best Radio Broadcaster of the Year 2011" at the prestigious 'Golden Mikes'. 92.7 BIG FM won the most important award of the year riding on its victorious run in four major categories. 'Golden Mikes' is the annual exchange4media Radio Advertising Awards.
Alongside, 92.7 BIG FM also won two Golds and two Silvers. Gold Awards have been received in Most Unique Programming Idea/ Concept for Actor Calling Actor and Best Public service initiative by a radio station or a network of stations for self categories for its Public interest promo sending the message 'smoking is injurious to health'.
Silver Award for Most unique programming Idea / Concept for its unique storytelling and song format show called Yaadon Ka Idiot Box. The show takes people down memory lane through the best intertwining of story with music, taking the listeners through a one hour ‘theatre of the mind’ experience. Another silver was won for Best Public service initiative - Short Song for a humorous presentation of societal issues with a meaningful message and call for action.
