Fever Radio Ramayan to go on air in September

Fever FM is set to air the Ramayana in the audio format from mid September under the title show of “Fever Radio Ramayana”. The mythological drama will be aired for 24 weeks everyday and for the next initial days it will be aired thrice in a day (morning, afternoon and evening). The mythological drama will hit the airwave on all four Fever stations. The series will be spread across 120 episodes. This venture is considered to garner great listenership after it goes on air.
The radio station has roped in veteran Bollywood actors, such as Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri and Anupam Kher, to lend their voices to the characters in Radio Ramayan. Shah will play the character of Raavana, while Kher will play Dasharath. Om Puri has been roped in to narrate the story as Kaal (time) to narrate the happenings according to the perspective of Kaal. A new entrant will play the role of Ram.
The format of Fever Radio Ramayana is considered to be one of its kinds in terms of radio programming. The Fever team has been working on the concept for almost 6 months and the voices in the epic drama will be lent by the in house talent as well as new artist. |
