Pavan Varshnei has put in his papers at ABP Group where he was English Magazines and digital properties president.

With effect to this resignation, Kaushik Banerjee will fill in as VP-English Magazines and Digital from March 1st 2012. 

Varshnei joined ABP in 2008 as business head of Businessworld, and thereafter played a key role in launching Fortune India.

Prior to joining ABP, he was the Publishing Director of the Business Division at India Today Group, and was credited with rapidly expanding the business publications portfolio.

Before joining the publishing industry, Varshnei was Executive VP at Lintas where he had spent 14 years, working across several Unilever brands, Maruti Suzuki, Electrolux, Joyco, Wills Lifestyle and Sony Ericsson.
