Vinod Mehta, Editor-in-Chief of Outlook Group, has decided to retire after serving the magazine for 17 years. However, he will be the part of the group as an Advisor. Since Outlook's launch in the year 1995, Mehta has been with the group as its Editor-in-Chief.
"I am still with Outlook. I have just relinquished the day-to-day responsibilities. If somebody thinks that I am out of Outlook, they are wrong. I am still very much here," Mehta said.
One of the senior-most editors of the country, Mehta has been editor of several publications, including Pioneer, The Sunday Observer, The Independent and The Indian Post.
Reportedly, Krishna Prasad, Editor, Outlook, will take over from Mehta, who will oversee the functioning of the group.
