Mirror's Richard Wallace suggests incident of hacking during his tenure

The editor of Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper told a media ethics inquiry that it is possible illegal phone hacking took place at the tabloid, which was edited for almost a decade by CNN celebrity interviewer Piers Morgan.
Mirror Editor, Richard Wallace has told the Leveson enquiry, which is enquiring the media ethics that it is very much possible that hacking "might well" have been going on at the Mirror in the early 2000s.
Meanwhile, Piers Morgan, editor of the period Wallace talked about, denied any such possibility of phone hacking scandal. Presently associated with CNN, Morgan said that in his term period at Miroor, from 1995-2004, he never heard any hacked call or voicemail.
Currently, the investigations are under process pertaining to News of the World’s involvement in the Phone hacking scandal. Justice Brian Leveson is spearheading the investigations and questioning the ethical issues of the media group along with inquiring from editors of daily newspapers and celebrity magazines including Hello! and OK!
