The iPhone company’s Tablet creation is yet again making it to the headlines as Apple Inc sends out special press invites.
Apple has sent e-mail invites for a high-profile media event to be held Jan. 27 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. The invites sent to journalists read: "Come See Our Latest Creation."
With this it is anticipated that the iPhone company would be unveiling its Tablet computing device, a new-age recently evolved concept, while, there's no official confirmation that the occasion will feature an unveiling of the mythical device.
Earlier The Wall Street Journal had reported that Apple would be announcing a 10- to 11-inch touchscreen device in the near future. According to the reports in various other media publications this device is tipped to be called the iTablet, iSlate or iPad.
There are quite possibilities of debut of the Tablet device at the press event. Though a report at AppleInsider states that the shipment of the device could be delayed due to a few minor issues.
Citing a note by Shaw Wu with Kaufman Bros. to investors, the report at AppleInsider says, "that checks with supply chain sources indicate the launch pattern for the tablet could follow that of the original iPhone in 2007, with a January unveiling and final product shipping to consumers six months later. He said that the June launch could be due to "minor issues" with more work needed on battery life and durability."
With this the much-talked about Apple Tablet is expected to be unveiled on the Jan 27 at the press event, expected to be available in June. |
