The media sales team Big Connect of Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd (RBNL), will leverage assets that include sectors such as infrastructure, power, communication and entertainment. Reliance ADAG’s media assets include Delhi Airport Metro Express, Mumbai Metro One, Worli Sea Link, Reliance Mobile, Big Cinema, Reliance World outlets, Zapak Gameplexes, Big Flix , Big Street (OOH), Big FM and soon to be launched English Channels with BIG CBS, Zapak.com and Big Adda. This will allow advertisers reach out to the consumers that span up to 200 millions.
The Big Connect team comprises of 200 people across 52 cities. It is one of the largest integrated marketing undertaken through which development and marketing of media will function through a single point. It claims to touch almost 1 in every 5 Indians through the RBNL platform. Also the need for integrated media solutions to garner interest of the audiences was the reason for this new decision.
It will be easier for media buying and planning agencies to negotiate deals with one team, as there is a single window to access the properties. RBNL will have revenue sharing deals with each of the R-ADAG companies. The percentage of revenue share would depend on the property and the duration of the deal.
RBNL will also sell media space on the network of Reliance Mobile and retail outlets of Reliance World under Reliance Communications Ltd, brand activation opportunities through BIG Cinema’s multiplex chain, new media platforms such as Zapak.com and BIGAdda.com, the out-of-home advertising network of BIG Street, and RBNL’s own radio station 92.7 BIG FM and soon-to-be launched English channels with BIG CBS. |
