Fevicol's Golden Jubilee celebration film shortlist in Film Lions category: Cannes 2010

Having total 16 lions in its kitty, the Indian advertising industry has its hopes laid only on the Film Lions category.
None of the Indian entries have made it to the shortlist in the Film Craft Lions and Titanium & Integrated Lions category. At the same time five entries from the country have made it to the shortlist of Film Lions category, though these five have been submitted by only two agencies, Ogilvy India and Creativeland Asia.
Pidilite Industries’ adhesive Fevicol’s Golden Jubilee Celebration film, Fevicol Moustache, is among the five entries making it to the shortlist of Film Lions category. The campaign has been worked out by Ogilvy & Mather and portrays the unbreakable bond of Fevicol.
The other two works submitted by O&M being nominated in the shortlist are films developed in the Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign for Breakthrough Trust. The films, based on true stories, urge people to be involved and take action against this rampant practice.
Creativeland asia has got two entries shortlist in Film Lions category which has been created for its client Parle Agro’ LMN Soft Drink. The two films revolve around two Bushmen searching for water in dry areas to quench their thirst ending up being unable to find so.
