Reliance Media Works to expand its business

Reliance Media Works, the entertainment wing of Anil Ambani industrial house, is expanding its domestic operations across films, TV commercials and broadcasting through strategic alliances and leveraging existing tie-ups.
“Reliance Media Works provided post-production services, such as processing, digital cinema mastering, and promos, trailers and visual effects to 110 out of 114 Bollywood films that released in 2011 include Rock Star, Dirty Picture, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,” said the statement from the company.
The company in South India has recently partnered with VenSat to expand its animation visual effects capabilities and create a studio in Chennai.
It has also tied up with Annapurna Studios to operate their studio services for expanding the digital post-production facility at the Hyderabad studios

Reliance Media Works operates the digital restoration and content processing services facilities in India and has restored over 250 legacy films in 2011 which includes titles like Sholay, Laawaris, Devdas and Do Bhigha Zameen.and have large studios where major events and certain films like Singhaam Agnipath have been shot.
The company operates BIG Cinemas, India's largest cinema chain with over 530 screens in India, the US States, Malaysia, Nepal and Netherlands.
