Expanding its reach continuously in the eastern territory of country, Mahuaa Media has come up with 'Mahuaa Khobor' a Bengali channel dedicated to the news genre. The launch was awaited from a long time as different outdoor and print media accelerated the marketing campaign for this new arm of Mahuaa in the state.

This is the second introduction of Mahuaa Media in the entertainment space of West Bengal after Mahuaa Bengal, a popular Bengali GEC. The company was indulged in launching of this channel by publicizing it on prominent Bengali dailies and English publications such as The Times of India, Hindustan Times and The Telegraph.

Viewers of West Bengal have already started receiving the transmission of Mahuaa Khobor from August 30th. The news channel has been launched on the premise of Ki Khobor (What's the News). The launch campaign for the channel has been conceptualised and executed by Rediffusion Y& R. 

This new entrant will have to compete with the existing players of market such as Kolkata TV, News Time, 24 Ghanta TV, R Plus, Ne Bangla, Channel 10 and Star Ananda.
