Kudelski Group led Nagravision has joined hands with Samsung Electronics America to provide enhanced and interactive web services to the viewers. To actualize this, the company has plans to provide such TV applications that can receive online video content to the TV set only.

This pact will enable Samsung to come up with such gadgets that will offer consumers’ access to interactive and fascinating applications. These will be available at Samsung Apps, which is the world’s first HDTV based application store that allows users to download and purchase applications from Samsung HDTV’s, Home Theater Systems through Internet@TV and Blu-ray Players.

International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that took place earlier this year witnessed the capabilities of both Nagravision and Samsung’s latest HDTV.
