Sennheiser brings Neumann's first Dynamic Mic at BES Expo 2010

Sennheiser India, a vertical of Sennheiser International is at the 16th annual international exhibition organised by Broadcast Engineering Society India to display its latest innovations in sound engineering.
Talking to Media Mughals, Pallavi Gupta, Assistant Manager Marketing in India for Sennheiser, remarked, “The world is talking about capturing and transmitting the video (image) in high-definition (HD). Well, the image needs to be accompanied by high definition audio. For this purpose we have exhibited the range of microphones as well as headsets that would help the broadcasters to facilitate HD operations.”
Among the microphones at display, Sennheiser has its 2000 series and evolution wireless 3G microphones. The G3 wireless series of microphones are the third generation of evolution wireless that are available in a huge variety of sets and accessories for absolutely secure wireless sound transmission. The G3 wireless series mikes are cost-effective and capable of handling any kind of live event ably.
The 2000 series of microphones are professional set of entry-level wireless microphone system that includes rugged products for a wide range of wireless applications. They are available in handheld and body-pack transmitters with single or twin receivers that can be aptly utilised for stage, broadcasting and installed sound applications.
Adding to this, at the Sennheiser booth, was the Neumann’s first dynamic microphone – BCM 705. “Neumann offerings are the Rolls Royce in microphones,” describes Jibu Ramachandran, Product Manager (Neumann, K+H).
The BCM 705 is the ideal microphone in Broadcast line from Neumann. The mike has superb clarity in sound with ability of fine-tuning to the requirements of professional broadcast studios and the individual. The BCM 705 captures sound without any interference or noise delivering best for the radio announcers.
Also at the Sennheiser booth was the Automatic Tour Guide System which has pre-recorded information to about various monuments and places in India. The product is being targeted for the purpose of tourists visiting the sub-continent. |
