TV9 to launch five channels

South Indian TV stalwart Associated Boradcasting Co. Pvt. Ltd. has announced their decision to launch five new channels which will reach out to audiences outside the southern regions. The new channels, TV9 Mumbai, TV9 New Delhi, News9, TV9 Chennai and Lehren will be the latest addition to the TV9 bouquet of channels.
While TV9 Mumbai, a Hindi news channel for the financial capital and Lehren, a bollywood news channel will go on air in December, News 9, a Bengaluru based English news channel will be launched by April 2009. TV9 New Delhi and TV9 Chennai are to be launched next year as well. All the channels will be free-to-air.
