The Association of Radio Operators for India (AROI) has organised its first official radio event "AROI 2009" to commemorate “Broadcasters Day” in memory of the first Broadcast to the Nation by Mahatma Gandhi on 12th November 1947. The theme of the conference for AROI 2009 is "Vision 2010”. The event will be inaugrated by the Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India Smt Ambika Soni.
The AROI represents all private radio operators in India with an objective to empower and ensure the development of Radio Broadcasters in India.
The event will be attended by Policy and Decision Makers from Government of India; Owners of Broadcast Media houses; CEOs, CFOs, Programming, Sales & Marketing teams from Electronic Media Industry; Technology and Service Providers; as well as Advertisers and Media Planners/Media Industry.
