Anjani Kumar, an alumnus of XLRI, has been recognized as one of the key contributors to the field of HR, over the last 12 years. He has been responsible for driving HR and IR in varied industry sectors and in diverse organizations like GE, ICI, Blow Plast etc, just to name a few, and currently at MSM pvt Ltd.

Over the last six years, of being with MSM, his career graph has seen a steep upward climb, from where he joined the erstwhile Sony Entertainment Network in 2003, as VP – HR, and traveled a successful journey, to his current position of EVP, where he heads a group of six different functions, viz. Human Resources, General Administration & Logistics, IT & Web Services, Post Production, Technical & Broadcast Operations, Production control, collectively called as ETSG (Enabled and technical services group), leading a team of 100 people managing the Enabling & Technical Services for Sony Entertainment Network.

As a leader of this group, and a firm believer in the power of technology to drive business, he has ensured a seamless integration of all of these functions with the overall business objectives.

A multidimensional visionary, and as a good leader, Anjani, has been responsible for creating a brand for the HR function, especially in the media and entertainment sector, and the efforts have been consistently acknowledged and appreciated by awards such as “The HR Leadership award” in 2008, and Award for "Continuous Innovation in HR Strategy At Work" at the prestigious Employer Branding Awards in 2007.

Besides HR, his expertise in the technological space within the organization is also highly regarded and respected.

The catchy, haunting, piano-plinking score won the Best Original Score Oscar (the film's sole award) for Francis Lai from its seven Academy Awards nominations: Best Picture, Best Actor (Ryan O'Neal), Best Supporting Actor (John Marley), Best Actress (Ali MacGraw)....
