Sahaab Khan

Sahaab Khan is a dedicated & result oriented Media Professional with 14 years of rich experience in managing a wide spectrum of Technical Operations including production control room, ingest, master control room and news channel launches. He is currently working with MediaGuru as vice president technology.

His expertise lies in strategy planning and devising different workflows to achieve maximum efficiency in a given technical setup. He has worked with NEWSX, a 24x7 HD Ready premium English news channel from INX GROUP as Associate Vice President- Broadcast Operations. He was a part of the core project team which was responsible for building up the channel from GROUND ZERO.

Sahaab started his career with Aaj Tak as a sound engineer. From there he moved on to WahiIndia In the capacity of a Technical manager. He came back to Aaj Tak and then Star as Chief Manager – Technical services, before joining NewsX.

Sahaab has worked through out in the technology domain and has won awards for the same:

• Awarded as Employee of the first Quarter 2006 in STAR NEWS for synchronizing all technical departments for smooth workflow hence enhancing the output efficiency. Streamlining MCR workflow to maintain zero money loss for the company.
• Awarded Employee of the Third Quarter 2006 in STAR NEWS for shifting a running channel head quarter from Mumbai to Delhi without any downtime or technical glitch.
