Subrata Dutta
EVP – Engineering : MCCS

With an experience of 20 years in the media industry, Subrata expertise lies in Technology and Operations. He currently works as an Executive Vice President – Engineering for MCCS (joint venture of Star India and Ananda Bazar Patrika ).

Subrata Dutta started his career as Service Engineer in New Video Limited an authorized agent of Sony for broadcast and professional products. Next he joined TV today as Deputy General Manager (Engineering). He helped set-up Headlines Today and AAJTAK as well as RED FM stations at Delhi, Mumbai and Calcutta.

Along with many other achievements, he is also credited with managing the technological and operational aspects of 3 of the MCCS Channels – Star News, Star Anando and Star Majha.
