Anurradha Prasad

Anurradha began her television career in the late '80s with the Observer News Channel and soon graduated to the post of Executive Producer of their video news channel. While on that assignment, she directed and produced numerous business as well as current affairs shows. Today, she has over 4000 hours of programming to her credit.

A well established television programmer, presenter and anchor, Anurradha started BAG Films & Media Ltd in 1993 with just a handful of programmes. Now BAG Films makes programmes for channels such as Star News, Star Plus, Sony, NDTV Imagine and Doordarshan. She combines her knowledge from her experience in television since the late '80s and her administrative and business acumen to place BAG as one of the top television production houses in India.

Last year Anurradha started her Broadcasting venture with the launch of 'News 24'. After that she launched 'E-24' a entertainment news channel thus expanding the verticals of BAG Betwork.

Besides, Anurradha has been felicitated with FICCI Women Excellence Award, 2009 for being an accomplished women (entrepreneur) in the media and entertainment industry.
