Seema Mohapatra, Regional Director, Advertising Sales for South Asia region, BBC Worldwide, has reportedly ended her ten-year stint with the British broadcaster. 

BBC Worldwide is the major commercial arm and essential subsidiary of British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

Mohapatra had joined BBC in April 2001 as the Head of Advertising Sales from where she was promoted as Regional Director, South Asia for BBC Worldwide in 2007.

Prior to joining BBC Worldwide, Mohapatra worked with STAR TV as Manager, Sales from 1997 to 2001. 

Her educational armoury includes an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar after a degree in Commerce from Utkal University. Her next destination is still unknown.
