Reliance Broadcast Network Limited (RBNL) has roped in Madhukar Pandey as Business Head – for its Central India cluster covering UP, MP, Bihar and Jharkhand.

While, reporting to Anand Chakravarthy, Executive Vice President, Marketing and BIG Magic, RBNL, Pandey will be responsible for the overall functioning of the businesses in the region, which includes marketing and sales, managing P&L and overseeing product development and implementation of plans of radio channel Big FM and Hindi television Big Magic.

Commenting on his appointment, Anand Chakravarthy, Executive Vice President, Marketing and BIG Magic, RBNL.said that, Madhukar would lead BIG Magic and 92.7 BIG FM’s operations in the highly competitive and growing central Indian market and with his unique depth of experience in the region, he was sure he would contribute enormously to help take the company to greater heights.

Pandey is armed with 14 years of rich and diverse experience in areas such as life insurance and information technology. Prior to joining RBNL, Pandey served as GM (Regional Head) at MetLife Insurance. He started his career in the area of IT education and served organizations such as NIIT, CMC, and Informatics in various capacities. He has also worked with ICCI Prudential Life Insurance, HDFC Standard Life and MetLife Insurance.

He is a computer applications graduate from the Lucknow Christian PG College and holds a PGDBA.

Commenting on his new role, Madhukar Pandey said that, he was delighted to be a part of one of India’s most dynamic and vibrant organizations and he looked forward to capitalize on the many opportunities that lie ahead and set new benchmarks in that challenging role.
