After the demise of Chief Editor K.M. Mathew, his son Memon Mathew has held the same designation as Group Editor of the whole Malayala Manorama Group. With 44 years of profound experience in the field of journalism, Mathew will hold the responsibility of Group Editor as well as of the Managing Director.

Mathew holds his educational background in St. Stephen College, New Delhi. He started his professional career with The Times of India Group. After which he moved to Western Mail Sunday Times in London as reporter. He has also worked with several other foreign newspapers. Memon has also been associated with Editors' Guild and Press Council of India.
