Heading the operations of ESPN Star Sports in India as the Managing Director since June 2003, R C Venkateish now calls it a day. Venkateish has put in his papers at the ESPN Software India and is moving to pursue other interests with immediate effect.

Venkateish possess rich experience in the marketing industry working with number of leading companies across different industries. Prior to joining ESPN Software India, he has worked with Kellogg India, the Gillette Co, Oral-B Laboratories and Nestle India. At all the organisations Venkateish has played significant role in taking the business to new heights.

During his tenure with ESPN Star Sports, Venkateish was instrumental in acquiring broadcast rights of big ticket properties like ICC World, Champions League T20 and the soccer World Cup.

While, no replacement for Venkateish has been found by the Company yet, Vijay Rajput, COO for ESPN Software India will be taking over the charge for the present.
