Ashu Dutt and Manisha Gupta joins ET NOW's Editorial team

ET Now has made two new appointments to its Editorial team. Through these appointments, ET NOW, a vertical of the Times Global Broadcasting, looks to provide its viewers with more stock tips, more trading calls and more market analysis than any other station.

Ashu Dutt has joined the business news channel, ET NOW as the Chief Consulting Editor for Financial Markets.� With this new responsibility, Dutt makes a shift from CNBC-TV18. He will be spearheading markets coverage between 8am and 10:30 am on ET NOW with a show called ‘Place your Bets with Ashu Dutt’ which started today, Tuesday, March 9.

Also, Manisha Gupta joins the ET NOW’s formidable lineup of anchors and analysts as editor commodities and currencies. A well-known face on Indian business television, Gupta’s unmatched expertise in covering these important markets has helped make ET NOW’s reporting on currencies and commodities best in its class.

Commenting on the recent key hires, Andy Mukherjee, Senior Editor Financial Markets, ET NOW remarks, ‘We’re delighted to have Ashu Join us. He brings with him tremendous experience, credibility and in-depth knowledge of financial and commodity markets’. One of the pioneers of Indian financial television, Ashu has seen the evolution of financial markets from close quarters as an anchor, editor and financial-markets consultant over the past two decades. Ashu has anchored popular shows such as ‘Classroom,’ `Markets Midday’ and ‘Mid-Cap Radar’ for CNBC TV18, along with its flagship show, ‘Bazaar Morning Call’
