Viacom18 has roped in Gaurav Gandhi to lead the organisation in the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Joining in the capacity Gandhi would be reporting to Rajesh Kamat, Group COO - Viacom18 and CEO - COLORS. He will be spearheading Viacom18's international business as his mandate.

Prior to this appointment Gandhi was associated with the general entertainment brand of NDTV Group – NDTV Imagine. He brings upon over 10 years of experience in the media and broadcasting space at the Viacom 18.

Speaking on the appointment, Rajesh Kamat, remarks in a prepared statement, "Given our exponential growth as a group in the last 18 months and our future growth plans, it is now critical that we centralize our cost and commercial functions, thus ensuring synergies between various group businesses. Given Gaurav's relevant experience and proven track record, I am confident in his ability to add value across the group."

Besides being at NDTV Imagine, Gandhi has also worked with the Star India handling various assignments including Content Acquisition, Business planning & Syndication for around four years.
