What’s On India, India’s first and only TV guidance channel is to be headed by Shalini Behl. Joining in this new capacity Behl will be reporting to Atul Phadnis, the founder and promoter of What’s On India Group.

Talking about the responsibilities she would be handling at the channel with Media Mughals, Behl remarks that she will be steering marketing, programming, content and distribution operations for the channel that have consumer touch points.

Behl possess rich experience of around 15-years working in various organisations in different capacities. She has been associated with ad agencies, entertainment channel as well as DTH firm.

Behl says, What’s On India, a TV guidance channel is a completely new concept for the Indian audience. Thus, the major challenge would be to create awareness along with education for the concept of the channel. Besides, my responsibility also undertakes the task of taking the channel to a new level and to have a unique identity for it in the market.”

Most recently, Behl was associated with Reliance Big TV as the Content Acquisition Head. She also had stints with Sony Entertainment Television and Zee TV. She initially started her career with ad agencies and was in the advertising industry for around seven years.
