With immediate effect Linda Dillman has been designated as the new Senior Vice President of the Global Information Technology (IT) Department of Hewlett-Packard (HP). In her new role Dillman will accountable to Randy Mott, Executive Vice president and Chief Information officer at HP.
As the Senior VP she will pilot the IT teams responsible for the company’s outsourcing services business and a newly created group supporting global functions such as corporate administration and shared services, finance, global real estate and human resources.
Before the current appointment Dillman, most recently, worked as the Executive Vice President of benefits and risk management for Wal-Mart Stores Inc besides serving the retailer in some other roles since joining Wal-Mart in 1991. She has also been associated with HP as a computer operator for around five years.
Besides being credited for her work in the corporate she has received numerous awards and honours, including the University of Indianapolis Distinguished Alumni Award in 2003, Information Systems Executive of the Year at Loyola College in 2004, University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business Women in Leadership Award in 2005 and Computerworld’s 2006 Information Leadership Award.
