Magicsoft's UltraRed is a standard definition and high definition broadcast quality solution that manages simultaneous preview, creation, display and control of projects for logos, tickers, crawls, image sequences, clocks and playback of avi DV clips.

With over three years experience in GPU programming built into the rendering engine, UltraRed supports all standard and high definition modes. Running on Windows XP, UltraRed uses nVidia graphics processors for rendering and either a Blackmagic Decklink series, Deltacast Delta series or Bluefish444 series video card for Output.

MagicSoft's UltraRed works in either standard definition or high definition, either analog or digital and uses either an internal or external key.

Graphics are 24 bit (TrueColor) with 8 an bit alpha channel (256 transparency levels.)

Antialiasing for TrueTypeFonts and Anisotropic Filtering for images are implemented using the GPU.

Objects are animated by moving, rotating and changing color. Objects also can be moved on their z-axis eliminating the limitations of the layer oriented programs.

Preview and OnAir Rendering is GPU, not CPU, based. This alleviates the need for more expensive CPU processors.

Keyframes are used to describe objects characteristics over time. TCP/IP permits control of the display and the content a project. GPU based rendering technologies; the use of timelines and the ability to manage multiple projects are available in UltraRed for SD and HD at a fraction of the price of competitive systems.
